Its been a long long time since I've seen this page. And i have done loads of things since october till now: A levels, South Africa, work and watch many many K dramas with vril. And results are coming out on friday la!

Africa was really fun. I miss the times we spent there although when we were there twin and I kept wanting to come home. It always happens, the grass is always greener on the other side.

I'll be nice. and show you some pictures from SA! Thats the South african flag and the blue peters. It was raised when we got there and did the opening circle. The trip started out kind of awkward. Like, you know, cant really believe that you are actually IN SA. Probably because we were having exams and all that, and suddenly we are flying halfway across the world to have fun.
Thats when we were doing orientation games on the first day. We arrived after lunch after one whole day of flying. The stewardess' butt kept hitting my head while i was sleeping!!

We also did other stuff like the jacobs ladder and blindfold game and animal sounds.

Grins. Thats all the food we are going to bring for our first expedition! It looked really delicious, so although we were doing this food sort after dinner, I was kind of hungry. Ohwait, it was before dinner. We had equipment sort before that.

Thats at Witfontein Nature Reserve. The guide Patrick, told us that its a EASY walk. He lied man! But the scenery was great.

AND THIS!! is my favourite picture. It was taken 3 times by 3 different people from 3 different angles. Want me to show you?

This, is when we just started our very first hike. I love our purple bags.

Our firsthike just got worst. Dont have much pictures after this though, no one was really in the mood for pictures, too cold wet and miserable.

And this, is a very memorable picture. Its with the mountain we crossed on that wet and miserable day. Thats the destination of our 3rd and supposedly toughest hike, Tierkop hut. (because of the very very steep part in the middle) It was quite scary while we were on that steep part, because one slip and byebye. The last stretch was the toughest though, we were all tired and our legs were wobbly. And the stupid hut, it was locked!! We had to pitch tents and camp outside!

We had community service at a primary school after this. And my favourite girl is....So cute right. All the kids there were very nice. And when we first met them, they even prepared a song item for us: you raised me up. It was kind of tear wrenching (or whatever you call it) I miss them alot.

After that was halfway assessment where we went back to base and we could shower after 8 days!!!!! It was the best shower I'd ever took. Even though the water temperature was unpredictable. After that was the water expedition. CANOES!! As you can see I was trying to get rid of the white circles around my eyes as a result of wearing too much specs.

Thats when we were so tired after running 5km in the morning, canoing all the way to Wolwe River(that place) and lugging the very very heavy bagpack up the hill and getting pricked by thorns all the way.

After that we went to Mr Willy Ward's house for braai (bbq). His house is like a resort!!! The next day we had a failed CIP with the runner's club. Then it was abseilling! So we stayed at Wolwe River for 3 days. I remember the night before abseilling, there was a thunderstorm, and we got wet wet and I was up almost the whole night wondering if our tent could take it. The sounds of the wind was suggesting that branches would come falling on us any moment.

This was taken at Wolwe River, after our failed community service. We were havin a picnic lunch!! Complete with bread, corned meat, caramel, provitas, oranges, apples, cheese, peanut butter...

Then was our daily dip and suntan routine while we were at Wolwe River!

This is at the Caravan park we stayed at after the 2nd canoe trip. Tough man. The wind and current kept going the opposite direction. Its like when we stop paddling, we move even faster than when we are paddling. In the wrong direction. Twin and I were having fun on the swings
Our 4 km beach run!!

After that we went to our solo site to do 48hours of solo. Thats my basha! I built it.

Then we had rafting after solo. We were all so hungry we had to eat provitas while building the raft.

After that was clean up session, where we cleaned our equipment. That night we prepared for the next day, where the runner's club were to come and visit. Cook food and stuff. I helped cook. heh!!
After that was the trapeze. I did it twice because I wanted to catch the rod. I failed!!
AND we became tourists of South africa! We did whale watching, went to the elephant park, went to featherbed nature reserve, visited the caves, and the ostrich farm. This was when we were at the cango caves (kind of obvious I know)
On our second last day we ran 5 km in the morning. No more morning dips and PTs... Mr Ward invited us to join the runner's club for their weekly 5km run in the evening. -.- I dint run then, it was too hot! 42 degrees in the afternoon!

And on the last day,
(Top row: Weelee, JP, Choonyong
Midde row: Vivian, me, Peishan, Rodney, Laipeng, Jiajun, Minmin
On the ground: Owen)
At Willow Point, gathering for the last time. It was a wonderful 26 days, although sometimes, I'd really felt like giving up. But I guess its only in these things that you learn to do your best and givea little more, like Rodney always says.
