OMG! I have not logged in for SOOO long, that I forgot my username and password. What is the world coming to??!!!

I went to my hostel to do cleaning up today with Yuanlin. It was damn dirty. The floor is linoleum and has awful stains all over the place which we couldn't get out. And so the floor is clean actually, just that because of the stains it looks damn disgusting and we have to convince ourselves its clean! (and we cleaned the damn floor abt 5 times) And the window wont close properly, and the door hinge is loose, and the door wont close properly, and the bed frame is full of whatever! But at least the desk and cupboard look alright. Just have to live with it wont I. i just wish i could fast forward to the day i finish packing the stuff into my hostel. Then I wont have to think abt what to bring and pack and unpack and.... Anyway camp is coming(damnit), 6 long days.

But i watched The Simpson's movie today. It was really retarded. Funny kind of retarded. It was just weird lame jokes peppered all throughout the show. But it makes you laugh.

And HP7 is just great!! I spent the whole night of 21st july (or rather morning of 22nd july) reading it. From 12-7~~~ And the next night was spent re reading it. <33

ARGHHH!!!! I CANT WATCH NARUTO!!!! Crunchyroll said they ran out of bandwidth, whatever that means!! Must be my BROTHER!!! No school today, watch until he go mad.... and used it all up!! DAMN. I'm suffering from naruto withdrawal symptoms.

Well anyway.. I just watched 200 pounds beauty with Ah-vril. It was good. I especially liked the part when 'Jenny' sang Maria, and she went MARIA AVE MARIA. Good thing we watched it in a cinema. I think it would so much better in a cinema than on the com or smth.

AND! I quit my job at SK. Finally! I'm free! I thought about it for 3 days you know, before finally (and cleverly(is there such a word??)) deciding to give it up once and for all. No more headaches!

ALSO, on the sat that just past, I went with JY and Suzy to the NTU MAE high tea. The food was good. Hee. But we talked to the seniors, and they were like saying aerospace is quite tough, lots of projects and late nights and mugging and mugging and getting As. I dont know if I can take it. It sounds bad!!! How am I going to watch Naruto and stuff??!!

Its starting to get to me, having 2 jobs and working everyday single day. Now I'm like suffering from some escapism syndrome. All I do when I get home is sit on my bed and watch naruto. I don't even play piano! and I haven't even booked my prac lessons for driving! and I dont't feel like working the whole of june. Which means I probably can learn driving then, and have time to practise piano (although I might not do that) and have time to exercise. BUT, I wont have income.

ARGH!! BUT as of now, I REFUSE to work in june. Will I change my mind?

Today I was looking at a handsome guy, when I burned my hand. YET AGAIN!! But he has a girlfriend. The last time I burned my hand was 2 days ago, when I act smart, carry too many jugs of hot water at the same time. I think the customers could hear my OUCH.

THEN!! Today!! That guy was standing outside the restaurant at abt 5.40pm. And he waited until we open the doors and walked right in and sat at table 15 and his back faced the counter. Then I was making hot chinese tea for another table and looking at the handsome guy. Then the hot water spill out on my hand. And all because of that, my hand was stinging the whole night.

What to do, the price to pay for looking at handsome guys...

After a 5 day break from IRAS, I kind of dread going back to smelly 5th floor and all the tax forms. And I remember I have 2 stacks of unfinished forms to deal with and there are weirdstuff inside. ARGHH. But I want the good money that comes with this boredom, so what to do, stick it out.

Anyways, Jueling came over today because we intended to suntan but the sun dint want to cooperate with us. I went over to her house yesterday, and happy to say, (or is it sad?) we were sleeping the whole time. But she recommended 'Love Story in Harvard' to watch, and its very nice! Mainly because, the girl(Kim Tae Hee) is so pretty! And Lee Wan is her younger brother!!! They look kind of different, their eyes especially.

I went for catering yesterday and today (meaning friday and saturday, since i typed this at 12am). Yesterday's catering was at Tangs, Estee Lauder. It was really weird. Apparently Estee Lauder had some private event where people were invited for dont't know what. And there were 4 of us service staff, and they expect us to serve food and drinks to the guests in the so crowded shopping centre in that so small area. And some of the EL staff were telling us its ok to serve the passers by and some were telling us not to serve them but only serve the guests, and they are like... confusing us. But oh well, the good thing was that it ended on time, at 8!!

AND!! We saw a gay!! Seriously! He was walking past us then he was like staring at the catering guys. my god! hahah!! But his skin was quite good and quite handsome. One of the catering guys were saying he should go get a gf instead of being gay. It was quite funny.

And today!!! Even better! The catering was at Raffles City. It was some fashion show or something. Where there were models on the cat walk and stuff like that. AND the best part was that, THERE WERE ALOT OF MEI NUS! Even in the guests, so many mei nus. There was this lady, she looked alot like Gong Li, except that her face is smaller, and she is SUPER PRETTY! And I served her champagne! heh heh. Man I sound les. And the models were very pretty too. Daphne Khoo was there too. Wonder how they get invitations to these kind of things.

And Avril, ifyou are reading this, there was this guy, that looked a bit like Rain! hahah!!

I left early though, to meet up with Yingxia. Miss Poh! We went to Sakae Sushi to eat, and got a 10% discount! heh

The deadline for university admissions is coming up real quick! I haven't really had time to sit down and really think what I want to get into. But lets face it, even if I had, I'd probably not know what I want to go into anyway. Always thought of aerospace since like 2 years ago, but on tuesday my father brought me to a few aerospace factories and we met a few mech students going to specialise in aerospace, and they advised us not to do aerospace but to do mechanical and specialize in 4th year. Hahah!! My father is so nice! He took leave for that day!

The trip on tuesday(13/3) was quite fun. Jiaying came along too. First we went to GE, which was my father's previous company. He sure knows many many people in there, we kept getting sidetracked! The GE branch in Singapore is more of a repair and maintenance branch. We dint even get to see the full engine of the plane, much less the plane! All we got to see at GE was the turbine blades. Thats what they were doing repairs for. The shop floor looked quite interesting and we had to wear big safety goggles. Jiaying's favorite! At the end of the tour round GE, my father and Philip Tan (our 'guide') went up to the office level to say hi! And Jiaying and I were just standing around, and we happened to look into a toilet. And guess what we saw!!! Ladies having conferences!!! hahaha!

Then we went to Goodrich, which was opposite the road. This branch makes the emergencey slides. It was really cool. I've never seen the emergency slide before(hope i will never get to see it again) but there in the shop level, the slides were all blown up and lying on the floor. Those slides have to be checked every 3 years. So the factory blows up the slides and tests them for air retention. And the boss was ex-GE, my father's friend.

After that was lunch at the Changi Sailing Club. There was this waiter, worst than me ok!! First he split water on the table while refilling Jiaying's glass, then after that he dropped a whole scoop of icecream on Jiaying. He must hate her.

Then we went to the other part of Goodrich, where they did the Nacilles, which is the portion that goes round the engine. It was super cool. We saw the nacilles all in the shop level in different stages of repair. And there were other parts of the engine. And did you know, that the total cost of all 4 engines of the plane is about 80% of the cost of the whole plane!! So it was at Goodrich where we met the NTU students on industrial attachment and we talked to them. All of them advised us to take mech eng. argh!! And they said that aero eng is very tough, esp aerodynamics, where they almost failed.

Then we went over to Air Cruisers, where they also did emergency slides, but for the smaller planes. We dint really stay that long because I had work after that!!

On the previous day, we went to the ZOO!!!! Supposedly, Jiaying Susanna Hailing Remus and I were to go, but you know, it threatened to rain heavily in the morning and Hailing wanted to cancel, but Suzy JY and I decided to go on with it. And HL and Remus dint come after all. So it was left with us 3some. It was great fun though!

We went to see the polar bear feeding first, and there was this mei nu doing the presentation!!!! Then after that we went to the tree top trail for the feeding session, and we saw the zoo keeper feeding the saki monkeys and he was doing this whistle thing, which Suzy copied!! Man, he must have known we were spying on him. We then went for the elephant show and another mei nu was presenting!!! Woah! We were actually quite tired that day. I barely slept the previous night. But after that, later in the afternoon, I saw Sharmila, she was doing the pygmy hippos presentation. AND she knows the mei nu!! And she earns alot man! Working at the zoo is $8 per hour! Thats like ALOT!!! After that we went for the giraffe feeding session and the mei nu was there again. She does alot of presentations.. impressive memory skills.

It was alot of fun, although I was dead tired after the whole day. Next time!! Night safari! But the entrance fee is $20!!

I went to Sentosa on monday with SK staff! There were only 8 of us unfortunately, Eloi and Gordon couldnt make it last minute because of school. I think probably I'd go back to work during weekends or smth. Heh. AND I'd take the income tax job. After all the pay is not bad.

And today Jiaying and me cycled to SSDCL to register for her final theory and to get her PDL. The queue was so long ok! But we managed to find out about the private driving instuctors after going up and down and asking really weird questions. The people there must have thought we were dumb or smth. There was this list of private driving instructors on the notice board and most of them did not give their contact number, so we went to ask the counter how to contact them. And guess what they told us??!! Ask the sell fruits uncle!! We were like... But they werent lying. We went down to ask and coincidentally there was a private driving instr sitting there! It was quite lucky actually, because he was the one we wanted to contact! And guess what, he is Daniel's father...

I'm feeling so irritated these few days and I don't even know why. Its like I am ignoring so many of my messages and those that I reply, sometimes, or rather most of the time I'm trying very hard not to snap at them. ARGHH!! And I am so irritated now I cant sleep.

Anyway my last day at SK is on friday. Will I miss the place after 2 months? I suppose not, since almost everyone has left.

Its been a long long time since I've seen this page. And i have done loads of things since october till now: A levels, South Africa, work and watch many many K dramas with vril. And results are coming out on friday la!

Africa was really fun. I miss the times we spent there although when we were there twin and I kept wanting to come home. It always happens, the grass is always greener on the other side.

I'll be nice. and show you some pictures from SA! Thats the South african flag and the blue peters. It was raised when we got there and did the opening circle. The trip started out kind of awkward. Like, you know, cant really believe that you are actually IN SA. Probably because we were having exams and all that, and suddenly we are flying halfway across the world to have fun.
Thats when we were doing orientation games on the first day. We arrived after lunch after one whole day of flying. The stewardess' butt kept hitting my head while i was sleeping!!

We also did other stuff like the jacobs ladder and blindfold game and animal sounds.

Grins. Thats all the food we are going to bring for our first expedition! It looked really delicious, so although we were doing this food sort after dinner, I was kind of hungry. Ohwait, it was before dinner. We had equipment sort before that.

Thats at Witfontein Nature Reserve. The guide Patrick, told us that its a EASY walk. He lied man! But the scenery was great.

AND THIS!! is my favourite picture. It was taken 3 times by 3 different people from 3 different angles. Want me to show you?

This, is when we just started our very first hike. I love our purple bags.

Our firsthike just got worst. Dont have much pictures after this though, no one was really in the mood for pictures, too cold wet and miserable.

And this, is a very memorable picture. Its with the mountain we crossed on that wet and miserable day. Thats the destination of our 3rd and supposedly toughest hike, Tierkop hut. (because of the very very steep part in the middle) It was quite scary while we were on that steep part, because one slip and byebye. The last stretch was the toughest though, we were all tired and our legs were wobbly. And the stupid hut, it was locked!! We had to pitch tents and camp outside!

We had community service at a primary school after this. And my favourite girl is....So cute right. All the kids there were very nice. And when we first met them, they even prepared a song item for us: you raised me up. It was kind of tear wrenching (or whatever you call it) I miss them alot.

After that was halfway assessment where we went back to base and we could shower after 8 days!!!!! It was the best shower I'd ever took. Even though the water temperature was unpredictable. After that was the water expedition. CANOES!! As you can see I was trying to get rid of the white circles around my eyes as a result of wearing too much specs.

Thats when we were so tired after running 5km in the morning, canoing all the way to Wolwe River(that place) and lugging the very very heavy bagpack up the hill and getting pricked by thorns all the way.

After that we went to Mr Willy Ward's house for braai (bbq). His house is like a resort!!! The next day we had a failed CIP with the runner's club. Then it was abseilling! So we stayed at Wolwe River for 3 days. I remember the night before abseilling, there was a thunderstorm, and we got wet wet and I was up almost the whole night wondering if our tent could take it. The sounds of the wind was suggesting that branches would come falling on us any moment.

This was taken at Wolwe River, after our failed community service. We were havin a picnic lunch!! Complete with bread, corned meat, caramel, provitas, oranges, apples, cheese, peanut butter...

Then was our daily dip and suntan routine while we were at Wolwe River!

This is at the Caravan park we stayed at after the 2nd canoe trip. Tough man. The wind and current kept going the opposite direction. Its like when we stop paddling, we move even faster than when we are paddling. In the wrong direction. Twin and I were having fun on the swings
Our 4 km beach run!!

After that we went to our solo site to do 48hours of solo. Thats my basha! I built it.

Then we had rafting after solo. We were all so hungry we had to eat provitas while building the raft.

After that was clean up session, where we cleaned our equipment. That night we prepared for the next day, where the runner's club were to come and visit. Cook food and stuff. I helped cook. heh!!
After that was the trapeze. I did it twice because I wanted to catch the rod. I failed!!
AND we became tourists of South africa! We did whale watching, went to the elephant park, went to featherbed nature reserve, visited the caves, and the ostrich farm. This was when we were at the cango caves (kind of obvious I know)
On our second last day we ran 5 km in the morning. No more morning dips and PTs... Mr Ward invited us to join the runner's club for their weekly 5km run in the evening. -.- I dint run then, it was too hot! 42 degrees in the afternoon!

And on the last day,
(Top row: Weelee, JP, Choonyong
Midde row: Vivian, me, Peishan, Rodney, Laipeng, Jiajun, Minmin
On the ground: Owen)
At Willow Point, gathering for the last time. It was a wonderful 26 days, although sometimes, I'd really felt like giving up. But I guess its only in these things that you learn to do your best and givea little more, like Rodney always says.
